Final day for sustainable shopping …

Final day for sustainable shopping …

In case you haven’t picked up our tweets, just a reminder that tomorrow (26 October from 11am-8pm) is the last day to pick up ethically-sound clothing and accessories at 67 Old Street in London. The event is focused on discovering a sustainable style that really ‘cuts it’, recalibrating your wardrobe and celebrating the combination of fashion and fairness.

Jocelyn Whipple, the leading light of Livia Firth’s Green Carpet Challenge, comes together with Jill Heller, the owner of New York’s legendary Pure Thread, to host the event. A range of brands – including From Somewhere, Beautiful Soul, Henrietta Ludgate, Bottletop, Komodo and Charini – have collections available to view and buy.

According to Whipple: “These are the brands that UK fashionistas haven’t been able to get their hands on as our high street continues to favour mass produced clothes where the story of production and fibre has been obscured.”

This showcase and shopping opportunity is only running until 6pm on 26th October, and can be found at 67 Old Street, London, EC1 9HW. For more information, visit www.thepurethread.com.
